Jesus Christ indwells those who are His, which means that even in suffering, we can have hope. But we need to recognize that this world is a staging area for eternity. During our sojourn on earth God wants us to be conformed to the image of His Son, to be "complete in Him." We need to ask God, by his power, to remove our "lumps and bumps" and fill our voids so that we can be complete in Christ.
